About Oliver
I have nearly 20 years of experience working in the lower echelons of NHS administration, in roles that have taught me resilience, empathy, and the value of hard work. Alongside this, I am a working artist—though progress has been slow lately—my creative journey has been a constant thread through my life.
Over the years, I have worn many hats: teen-punk dropout, art student, DJ, graphic designer, pot-wash, cook, and artist. Each of these roles has shaped me, offering a broad outlook on life and a deep appreciation for the diverse paths we all walk.
I loves cats, I finally love my job, and I love where I live—Margate, on the south-east coast of England. This ‘quirky seaside town’ has become my home, a place that inspires me fills me with joy (on a good day).
Yet, my heart carries a bittersweet weight. I miss being European, a part of something bigger, that felt like home. And my heart aches for my American friends, who face their own struggles in a world that often feels divided.
Life has taken me through countless twists and turns, but each step has brought me here—to a place of gratitude, creativity, and connection.
